Mothers day mini sessions 2026

Mother’s day 2026 is coming up fast, and what a perfect way to celebrate than with some beautiful family photos. These mini photo shoots will be simple and relaxed. Celebrating love, connection and memories between you and your little ones.

How to prepare for your sessions

As these sessions are only 20 mins long it is important to be ready to go once your in front of the camera, don't forget to have something to eat and drink before hand x

What to wear

As we will be shooting outside neutrals suit the landscape well, creams and whites create contrast with the beautiful mountain scapes of queenstown however dont be afraid to let your personality show, if pink is your favorite colour I would love to see it!

One thing I generally always tell my clients to stay away from is heavily branded clothing as this can take away from the timelessness of the images we take. 

What to do

​The idea of these shoots is to get as much connection as possible, lots of cuddles and kisses for the littlies, whatever feels natural to get them smiling and to have those lovely images of connection. You know your kids best and what works for them but I am happy to jump in and give some direction.

These sessions are relaxed and we will go with whatever unfolds over the time, I love to be child led as they often create the most beautiful images.
